No More Perfect Moms 31 Day Challenge – Day 1 & 2

Day 1 – “I’m an Imperfect Mom, and That’s Okay.”

Challenge: Sometime today, find a mirror.  Look yourself straight in the eyes and admit imperfection.  In the same breath, before you can beat yourself up over this, tell yourself imperfection is okay.  It’s normal, and you’re not alone.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  Philippians 1:6

Day 2 – “Most of the time pride and humility play a tug-of-war inside of us. Pride believes “I can do it myself,” and humility says, “I can’t do this without you, God.”  –Jill Savage, NO MORE PERFECT MOMS

Challenge: If today has been “one of those days,” take a minute to thank God for the hard stuff. Thank Him that He can shine His light through the broken places in your life.  If today has been full of accomplishments, thank God for the energy and focus needed to get things done.

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.  James 1:16-17
